Beetle basking in summer solstice sunlight + Happy Succulents + First Rainbow flag.

I wanted to take photos of commuters this morning on there bikes and I keep missing the shot, so I’ll do that another day.  Today we have some photos of plants enjoying the longest day of the year.  Summer Solstice, my mom was telling me begins tonight at 4am something.  Make sure you enjoy our sunshine today.  We live in the worlds greatest city, so being inside is not allowed today.  Go out and touch that sunshine, and thanks to my neighbor for putting up that rainbow flag,  It’s the first I have seen this year and it makes me think of the incredible freedom and openness of the people that live here.   Have a great day and thanks for visiting iLikeSF.

Unknown to me, I guess today is rainbow flag day.  Mayor Ed Lee, doing his part.
